Drug and Alcohol Clinical Advisory Service (DACAS)
DACAS is a 24 hour a day, 7 day a week specialist telephone consultancy service available to all health professionals. The service provides clinical advice from addiction medicine specialists to health professionals who have concerns about the clinical management of patients with alcohol and other drug problems – 1800 812 804
Australian Community Support Organisation (ACSO)
ACSO are the intake and assessment provider for drug and alcohol treatment services in rural and regional Victoria (excluding Barwon region). All alcohol and other drug presentations requiring counselling, non-residential withdrawal, and / or care and recovery coordination must enter the system through ACSO connect – 1300 022 760.

FDS provide a 24 hour a day, 7 day a week support line for families affected by alcohol and other drugs – 1300 368 186.
DirectLine
DirectLine provide confidential alcohol and drug counselling and referral in Victoria for people from all backgrounds including family members. DirectLine is available 24 hour a day, 7 day a week by calling 1800 888 236.
Pharmacotherapy Advocacy Mediation and Support (PAMS) Service
PAMS is a state-wide telephone service run by Harm Reduction Victoria (HRV) and funded by the Victorian Department of Health. PAMS provide telephone-based information, support, advocacy, referral and mediation for opiate pharmacotherapy consumers and their direct service providers on any pharmacotherapy client related issue in Victoria.
